The Easter break is over and it’s back to the classroom as we head towards the summer months.
There are still many individual and class photographs to take and some careful planning beforehand from both photographer and school can ensure the day of the shoot can run smoothly with a minimum of disruption.
A timetable is always useful listing which class goes first, second etc..This can be agreed beforehand in conjunction with the school timetable.
Most photographers prefer to get the youngest children photographed first before moving onto the older pupils (snap them before they get tired!)
Siblings’ images can potentially be time-consuming so good preparation can again help to keep the shoot on track.
Good communication throughout the day will ensure everybody gets what they need.
And remember: it’s always nice to keep your school photographer plied with hot cups of tea; it’s thirsty work…!
