LD Photo was founded by Liam Deveney, a freelance photographer and journalist who graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in July 2012 with a first class honours degree in journalism.

Although his primary passion was sports photography,  he is a successful photojournalist for clients including  Mersey Mirror and the TUC before he began moving towards the education sector.

His images have been published on a number of online publications including The Mail, BBC and Liverpool Echo,  and have been featured on the BBC1 programme The One Show.

He has also previously worked as a moderator for Fifa.com during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Liam Deveney School Photography was set up to provide a local, cost-effective solution to the notoriously expensive school photography market.

His partnership with Once Vision Imaging and Pics4Schools ensures parents can purchase a wide variety of professionally printed products at extremely competitive prices.

A keen writer, Liam is a contributor to the Corinthian column in the Liverpool Echo  as well as being editor of Life On Marsh magazine, a bi-monthly publication for Marshalls Football Club.

He ran the 2004 London Marathon to raise money for the Downs Syndrome Association and is a regular supporter of the charity.

When not taking photographs, he can be found walking his beloved dog, Lily, and his dream job would be to be a wildlife photographer for National Geographic.
